The No.8 Ryerson Rams came from behind to defeat the No. 5 Lancer women's basketball team 59-55 on Saturday afternoon in Toronto.

The Rams jumped out to an 8-0 lead and held Windsor scoreless for the first four minutes. Ryerson led 16-12 after ten minutes, but Windsor was able to make the quick adjustment.
The Lancers defence forced six Rams turnovers in the second quarter and limited Ryerson to just eight points as the visitors flipped the script to lead 30-24 at the half.
After a gritty third quarter, the Lancers led 42-37 heading into the final quarter. With about a minute remaining and the Rams leading by two, Cara Tiemens connected from three point range to increase their lead to five.Â
