The Lancer football team headed to Hamilton for their final road game of the 2017 regular season against the McMaster Marauders. For the second straight game the Lancers opened the scoring with a 27-yard field goal, but unfortunately felt to the Marauders 29-13. Â

Game Stats
Marvin Gaynor hit the century mark again, rushing for 102 yards on 17 carries, including a 43-yard scamper.

In addition to punting for 413 yards, Clarke Green also completed an 18 yard pass for a first down.

Quarterback
Ben Bergamin went 16-for-33 for 127 yards, while the Lancers outrushed the Marauders 168-160 yards.

Game Action
The Lancers started the game in promising fashion, making a defensive stop before marching down to score the opening points of the game with a 27 yard
Clark Green field goal. The Marauders battled back quickly, going on a 20-0 run to end the half, as Jackson White connected with Tyson Middleworth for both the first half touchdowns. Adam Preocanin added two field goals as well.

Both traded field goals in the third quarter to make the score 23-3. While McMaster added a field goal in the fourth quarter, Windsor found the end zone late in the quarter when
Marcus Kentner hit pay dirt for the first Lancers touchdown of the day. McMaster added a field goal with six seconds left in the game for good measure, making the final 29-13 in favour of the Marauders.

The Marauders head to Kitchener to take on Laurier next week, kickoff is at 1:00pm. The Lancers return home to face the York Lions in the final game of the season, that game also kicks off at 1:00pm.
