The Lancer women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie against the York Lions on Saturday afternoon in Toronto.
 
The first half remained scoreless until the last two minutes of play, when Cassie Chretien of the Lancers scored a goal on a shot that went well above the head of Lions' goalkeeper Taylor Grant.
 
The Lions stepped up their offensive game in the second half, and it paid off. They were awarded a free kick in the 62nd minute that was taken by Ashley Nater, and she easily sent it to the lower left corner of Windsor's net.
 
The Lancers remained scoreless in the second half, and the game finished in a 1-1 tie.
 
Windsor will close out the regular season on Sunday when they travel to Guelph to take on the Gryphons at 1:00pm.
