The No. 5 Lancer women's basketball team suffered their first loss of the season Friday night, falling 70-46 to the No. 4 Carleton Ravens at the Ravens Nest in Ottawa.

The loss moves Windsor into a three way tie for first place in the OUA west division standings while the Ravens remain undefeated and atop the east division.

The Lancers were led by
Olivia Osamusali and
Carly Steer who each put up 11 points, while
Samantha Gucciardi came off the bench to add eight. Defensively, Windsor was led by fifth year
Emily Prevost with nine rebounds.

Carleton was led by Catherine Traer with 13 points. Jenjen Abella and Heather Lindsay each put up ten for the hosts.

Windsor struggled from the field, shooting only 23.2% compared to Carleton's 37.5%. The Lancers did outrebounded the hosts 45-36.
