The Lancer men's basketball season came to an end on Wednesday following a 71-63 loss to the McMaster Marauders in the first round of the OUA playoffs.
 
Windsor was led by Mike Rocca with 17 points and nine rebounds in the loss, while Micqueel Martin also had a great game with 13 points, five rebounds, three steals and a block.
 
In their final game with the Blue & Gold Mitch Farrell had 7 points, 4 rebounds and two blocks, while Tyler Persaud contributed six points and five rebounds.
 
McMaster was led by Connor Gilmore, David McCulloch, and Rohan Boney who all had 17 points. Boney and McCulloch also had double doubles with 13 and 10 rebounds, respectively.
 
The game was neck and neck until the middle of the third quarter when the Marauders went on a 17-4 run that stretched into the fourth quarter. The Lancers were able to bring it back to within seven but it was too late in the game to surmount a further comeback.
