In their first weekend of competition of 2018, the Lancer women's volleyball team hit the road for a pair of games against the Toronto Varsity Blues and McMaster Marauders.
 
Unfortunately for the Blue & Gold, they are still waiting for their first win of the new year, after falling 3-0 (14-25, 8-25, 16-25) to the Blues Friday night and 3-0 (19-25, 20-25, 19-25) to the No. 6 Marauders on Saturday.
 
The losses move the Lancers 4-7 on the season.
 
Lexi Pollard led the way for Windsor both nights putting up six points on Friday and 10.5 points Saturday against nationally ranked McMaster. Rookie Paige Phills also had six points Friday night to go along with her nine and a half points on Saturday.

Windsor has one game next weekend when they head back up the 401 to St. Catherine's for a Friday night match against the Brock Badgers at 6:00pm.
