After winning their first game of the season last week, the Lancers men's basketball team ended their road trip with a 95-67 loss in Hamilton, where they went head to head against the McMaster Marauders.

While still early in the year, this loss drops the Lancers to fifth place in the OUA West, while McMaster jumps into the first position.

GAME STATS
Anthony Zrvnar led the Lancer's offence with 20 points, making four of his six shots from behind the arc. The Marauders' David McCulloch led the game with 25 points, with his teammate Connor Gilmore putting up 24 of his own.

Thomas Kennedy had a strong defensive game, pulling down eight boards, while also contributing a steal and a block.

GAME FLOW
After Zrvnar started the game with a quick three point shot for the Lancers, the two teams locked down defensively for most of the first quarter. The first six minutes saw only three baskets, with the Marauders leading 5-3.

The majority of the offence came within the last two minutes, with both teams putting up five points, and ending the quarter tied 13-13.

The Marauders game out hard in the second quarter, going on a 21-5 run that Windsor was unable to climb back from.

The offensive onslaught continued until the end of the first half, with the score standing 49-27 for McMaster.

The Marauders came out of the break with two quick baskets before the Lancers started to show signs of new life.

The blue and gold put 23 points up in the quarter, narrowing the gap to 18 to start the fourth.

A string of missed shots from the Lancers saw the home team run away with the score, ending the game 95-67
