The Windsor Lancers took care of business on Saturday night defeating the Toronto Varsity Blues 80-74 in Toronto.
The Lancers managed to bounce back from Friday night's loss to the Ryerson Rams to split their weekend road trip in Toronto improving to 3-3 while the Blues fell to 1-3 on the year.

Key performances came from
Thomas Kennedy (21 points),
Chris Poloniato (16 points),
Telloy Simon (16 points), and
Shakael Pryce (10 points).
Kennedy was the only Lancer to record a double-double in the game by also contributing 11 rebounds as well in the win. The Lancers as a whole went 31 of 64 or 48.4% from the field in the matchup.
GAME FLOW
In the first quarter, the Lancers opened the game on a 10-2 run, which included strong defense and running in transition up until the 7:00 mark. The game was tied up at 17 a piece with 3:00 to go and the Varsity Blues did a great job putting pressure on the Lancers from 3-point range. The Lancers would end the first up 23-19.
Heading into the second quarter, the game remained equally competitive with both squads going back and forth at one another. The Lancers would continue to play well in transition giving them the edge heading into halftime up 36-31.
In the third quarter, both teams continued to be hungry in their efforts of securing a win as both sides traded baskets throughout the quarter. However, the Lancers would come out of the third quarter with a slim lead up 54-52.
Throughout the fourth quarter, both teams battled hard but ultimately the Lancers would continue to hold their lead throughout and eventually secured their third victory at the foul line down the stretch. The blue and gold would go on to spoil the Blues chances of extending their winning streak to two games by serving them with an 80-74 loss in front of a loud crowd at the Goldring Centre in Toronto.
