The Lancer men's hockey team lost their first road game of the season Saturday night, falling 2-1 in a shootout to the York Lions in Toronto.

The loss moves the blue and gold to 7-1-0-1 on the season, yet they remain in first place in the west division standings.

The Lions and Lancers finished the second tied 1-1 and continued to be tied at the end of the third period, though the Lancers fired 15 shots on goal and the Lions had five. They went into overtime not being able to get a goal past one another.
