In their final road game of the regular season the Lancer men's basketball team was defeated 102-61 by the Western Mustangs Sunday evening in London.
GAME STATS
Western's Omar Shiddo led all players in scoring, dropping 29. The Lancers were led by
Thomas Kennedy and his 20 points.

Kennedy led the game in rebounds, scoring a double-double with 12 rebounds to his 20 points. Western was led on the glass by
Marko Kovac and Jedson Tavernier with nine each.

GAME FLOW
The blue and gold got off to a slow start as they struggled to make shots or get any consistent ball movement on offense. The Mustangs, on the other hand moved along, building a sizeable lead and continuing to stymie Windsor's offensive efforts. Throughout the first half the Lancers got some things going but couldn't slow down the Mustangs who continued to score at a clip of 50 per cent. The Mustangs cruised into the halftime break up big over the Lancers, 56-28.

Coming out of the half Windsor finally punched back and showed some life. The Lancers cut into what was once a 30-point lead down to 20 forcing the Mustangs into a timeout. Despite the Lancers run though the Mustangs were able to stay well ahead of Windsor heading into the final frame, 76-50. In the fourth quarter, the Mustangs put the final nails in the game, soaring to an impressive 102-61 win over the Lancers.
