GAME FLOW
Things got off to a tough start for the blue and gold when halfway through the first period Guelph's Connor Bramwell beat Reinhart to put the home team up 1-0. Seven minutes later Bramwell assisted on Justin Lemcke's goal and the Gryphons were up 2-0 heading into the second period.

The second frame proved similar to the first as the Gryphons netted two goals late in the period and went into the final break up 4-0. The third period was full of opportunities, but the Lancers couldn't capitalize. Guelph put another one past the Lancers in the final frame, going on to win the game, 5-0.
