GAME FLOW
The Lancers got out to a rough shooting start in the first quarter. Like they had before, the blue and gold relied on stingy defence and a post presence to lift them out of the slump. The strategy paid off as Windsor kept the game close, tying it at the end of the first quarter when Uwayesu picked off a pass and tossed a deep lead pass to Kaylee Anagnostopoulos for a 17-17 score line. The second began with Western hitting their only three of the half, but the Lancers heated up after that as they tied the game on a Kayah Clarke triple and then didn't trail for the rest of the half. With the game tied and seconds remaining, Maggie Denys battled for a rebound amongst the bigs and kicked it out to Uwayesu for a three, giving the Lancers a 37-34 halftime lead.

The third quarter was the Lancers' best of the game, scoring 18 points in the frame and holding the Mustangs to a paltry nine points. With 2:33 left in the third quarter, Harriet Carey hit a three to give the Lancers their biggest lead of the game at 13. Though the Lancers didn't score again the rest of the quarter, they led 55-43 heading into the final frame. Windsor opened the fourth on an ice-cold run, not scoring until Osamusali hit a shot with 5:05 left in the game. The Lancers scored just nine points over the remaining five minutes dropping the game late, 71-64.
