The Lancer men's soccer team came out strong on Sunday afternoon in their second game of a weekend double header against the Brock Badgers. After dropping a 2-0 decision on Friday night on the road, the Lancers turned the tables and shut out the Badgers 1-0.

GAME FLOW:
The Lancers went into the game playing with aggression, forcing the Badgers to really push on the defensive side. Windsor goalkeeper
Brandon Gaudreau made numerous good saves that kept Brock on their toes. There was a close opportunity for the blue and gold in the 33rd minute when
Tanner Page made a goal that went past Brock keeper, Alex May, yet the referees called it offside and the Lancers were forced to keep pushing and keep their heads held high . At halftime, both teams were still tied at 0-0.

The second half came with many opportunities made by both teams looking to score. Windsor put on the pressure for the Badgers keeper when
Thomas Saba had a chance to shoot a free kick that went just over the net. After 63 minutes of pressure, the Lancers were able to finally score when Page found the back of the net and gave the blue and gold team the advantage. With less than 10 minutes remaining in the game, Gaudreau made a big save to keep the Lancers up and secure the win.
