Game Recap:
The Lancers came out strong to try to finish off their last game of the regular season with a victory in their books. Both teams worked hard on the offensive side to push the pace with many tackles and quick footwork to get around defense. Kyle Buren made the move for the Windsor Lancers to take the lead with a shot that was able to get past Western keeper, Samuel Spoelstra. A minute after, the Mustangs were quick to respond with a shot by Georgio Prataviera that Lancer goaltender, Kaneen Fells could not deflect and equalized the score.
In the second half of regulation, Western was looking to make several offensive plays to take the lead. Kaneen Fells made good efforts to try to stay on his toes but could not keep the ball out of Lancer territory. The Blue and Gold ended their last game of the season with a 5-1 loss against the Western Mustangs.
Prior to the game the Lancers honoured their graduating seniors and the Blue & Gold would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication as members of the Lancer family.
