Windsor came out with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for their first home game of the season on Wednesday night at the St. Denis Centre. The Blue and Gold made efforts to drive shots in but came up short to drop the game 85-58 to the Guelph Gryphons.

GAME FLOW
The Lancers started their first game of the OUA season with goals to keep things moving throughout the game and staying on their feet for quick turnovers. Windsor shot 53 per cent the field and played with high energy in the first half. Windsor's first point of the game came by Dehkissia and she led the way for the team to keep the momentum going. They trailed 42-33 at halftime.

In the second half, the blue and gold tried to follow the quick pace of the Gryphons with their quick turnovers but struggled to keep up. Windsor guard
Noor Bazzi made two 3-pointers, each within a few minutes, showing to be a positive impact for the team to close the gap.

Although the Lancers tried to find openings, they struggled to handle the pressure put on by the Gryphons and ended their first game of the season with a 85-58 loss.Â
