GAME FLOW
Windsor opened up the game slowly on the offensive end but made efforts on the defensive side, holding the Gryphons to 30 per cent from the field. The Lancers struggled to capitalize on their plays and finish-off scoring opportunities, while the Gryphons took advantage and pushed the pace to find openings and gain possessions. At halftime, Guelph led 37-31.

The slow offensive pace continued for the Lancers in the second half while the Gryphons extended their lead. Denys made four 3-pointers throughout the game, but Guelph was hot from the field and earned the 78-58 victory.
