Steven Abrams of the Lancer men's volleyball team has been named to the Team Canada'S U21 men's team, as announced by Volleyball Canada Friday.

The team is comprised of athletes with the potential to represent Canada at the 2028 Olympic Games. The program will run in Gatineau, Quebec, from July 5 to early October.

They will represent Canada at the FIVB U21 World Championships scheduled to take place in Italy/Bulgaria from September 23 to October 3. Â

Last June, Abrams became the first Lancer to ever be named to the Canadian Junior national team, and in January was named to the 2021 National Excellence Program (NEP), alongside Lancer teammate
Pierce Johnson.
