The Lancer women's volleyball team fell 3-0 (23-25, 15-25, 16-25) to the Waterloo Warriors on Breast Cancer Awareness Day at the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse.

Emma Shepherd who had 6 kills each. The Warriors were led by Sarah Glynn with 9 kills.
GAME FLOW
The Lancers took an early lead to open the game with some strong serving by
Brooke Davis. Windsor took a 13-8 lead before the visitors called a timeout. Waterloo earned three straight points out of the break and made it a two-point game at the technical timeout. Tied at 19-19, the teams traded points right to the end when Waterloo took the set 25-23.
The momentum Waterloo picked up at the end of the first carried into the second as they dominated the floor and earning a quick 25-15 set win.
Windsor came back to life in the third set, going toe to toe with the visitors to open the frame. The Warriors, however, picked up their momentum from the second set and broke away from the blue and gold, leading 16-9 at the technical timeout. The Lancers made a number of good plays down the stretch, but the Warriors were too far ahead, taking the set and match with a 25-16 third set score.

Windsor will travel to London on Friday, February 25th to face the Western Mustangs at Alumni Hall. The game is scheduled for 6:00pm and can be seen live at oua.tv.
