GAME FLOW
In the first quarter, the game got off to quick start as the Gryphons came in strong to set the Lancers up for an exciting game. Even as Guelph made it a challenge for Windsor to get into the Gryphon zone, Reine Ndome showed they were ready to put in the work and with a clean two helped them push away 12-9. The Gryphons would later take back the lead 22-17 after ten minutes.

The second quarter started to put the pressure on for the Lancers as the Gryphons would go on an offensive streak with back-to-back three's. For the Lancers to hold up in this game, they would need to show their hunger and desire to stay in the playoffs. Julia Chiarot came in hot with a nice spin move to get a two and help slowly close the gap for the team. As the Gryphons continued to hold onto the lead, 41-30 at halftime, the Lancers would need to find strategies to better capitalize on their offensive opportunities.

Windsor came in ready to show the Gryphons they were ready to battle until the end. They would do a good job at using their speed and improving their defense to keep the score close. Chiarot and Ndome would continue to charge into the Gryphon zone and make offensive plays. Dehkissia also held her own with smooth free throws as every point would count at this time in the game. With one more quarter to go, the Lancers would give it one last shot as the Gryphons led 59-54.

In the final quarter, the Lancers went on the defense to prevent the Gryphons from extending their lead. However, Guelph continued to pull ahead and score points to open the gap into the double digits. With huge improvements since the last time the blue and gold faced the Guelph Gryphons in November at the beginning of the season, the Lancers would run out of time and drop a 77-67 game to end their journey in the playoffs.
