The Lancer women's basketball team hosted the Brock Badgers at the Toldo Lancer Centre on Saturday where they emerged victorious with a 75-61 win in Windsor.

GAME STATS
Leah Tate led the Lancers offensively with 19 points in the winning outing while
Kali Grootenboer also contributed heavily on offense with 18 points of her own helping her team win on home court.Â

Reine Ndome also scored 10 points in the win while
Isabella Anes also contributed for her team with a game-high of 10 rebounds helping her team to victory.

GAME FLOW
Windsor controlled the pace of the game in the first quarter on Brock with a 22-9 lead by the end of the opening frame.Â
Â
The Badgers then came alive in the second quarter outscoring the Lancers 22-17 despite the blue and gold holding the edge going into half time up 39-31 on Brock.

In the third quarter, Brock continued to outpace the Lancers offensively adding another 20 to Windsor's 15 in the start of the second half making it 54-51 Windsor by the end of the quarter.Â

In the fourth, the Lancers sparked an offensive rampage with a 21-10 run that helped propel them past the finish line with a 75-61 win in Windsor to cap off 2024 and improve to 8-3 on the season campaign.

UP NEXT
The Lancers will now head into the winter break as they have concluded the 2024 portion of their schedule and will not return to the hardwood until the new year in 2025.Â
