The Windsor Lancer men's hockey team saw their season end Saturday afternoon, with a 4-2 loss to the Toronto Varsity Blues in the OUA West Semi-Finals.

Dylan Schives and Logan Linklater both scored a goal apiece for the blue and gold. David Jesus, Will Ennis and Jacob Boucher all notched an assist in the effort.
GAME FLOW
The game started with intensity, and Windsor came out firing, generating quality chances in the opening frame. Their persistence paid off with a goal to keep them within striking distance heading into the first intermission.
The Lancers struck again in the second period, capitalizing on a man advantage to bring the game level. However, Toronto responded with a go-ahead goal shortly after, regaining momentum heading into the third.
Windsor battled hard in the final frame, pressing for the equalizer, but a late insurance goal sealed the game for the Varsity Blues. Goaltender Nathan Torchia made key saves to keep the Lancers in it, turning aside 17 shots on the night.
