The University of Windsor Lancers men's hockey team fell 4–1 to the Brock Badgers in a Sunday afternoon matchup on January 25 at Canada Games Park in a snowed-in St. Catharines, Ont.

Windsor held a slight edge in shots, outshooting Brock 32–29, but Brock goaltender Ben Bonisteel was steady between the pipes, stopping 31 shots to earn the win. Max Donoso took the loss for Windsor, making 20 saves on 23 shots, while Kyle Metson stopped 5-of-6 in a period of action. Matt McNamara scored Windsor's lone goal, assisted by Stef Dobrich and Logan Linklater.

Brock struck first at 11:47 as Ryan Stepien finished a play set up by Tai York to give the Badgers a 1–0 lead after one.
The Badgers extended the advantage in the second period with a pair of goals just under two minutes apart. Ryan Johnstone doubled the lead, converting a feed from Stepien, before Zander Stewart made it 3–0, finishing a setup from Jacob Hoffrogge and Matt Duarte. Windsor continued to push but couldn't find a breakthrough before the intermission.
The Lancers showed resilience in the third period and were rewarded late, as Matt McNamara broke the shutout, finishing a play from Stef Dobrich and Logan Linklater to make it 3–1. However, Brock sealed the outcome with an empty-net goal from Matt Duarte, assisted by Jonah Boria, to close out the game 4–1.
