GAME FLOW
The Lancers and Gryphons battled through a scoreless opening quarter, with neither side able to find the end zone in the first 15 minutes. Guelph broke the deadlock in the second quarter, scoring eight points to take an 8-0 lead into halftime.

Windsor responded in emphatic fashion after the break, exploding for 20 unanswered points in the third quarter to take control of the contest. Cotton contributed through both the air and on the ground as the Lancers turned the deficit into a commanding lead.

Ginn played a key role in Windsor's offensive effort, finding the end zone to record his 10th receiving touchdown of the season. The touchdown established a new Lancers single-season record for receiving touchdowns, making Ginn the program's record holder in the category.

The Lancers added seven more points in the fourth quarter to extend their advantage, but Guelph refused to go away quietly. The Gryphons scored 15 points in the final frame, making a late push to get back into the game. Windsor's defence stood firm when it mattered most, preserving the four-point lead to secure the 27-23 victory.
