The University of Windsor Lancers curling teams concluded their 2025-26 seasons at the 2026 OUA Curling Championships in Welland, Ont. the weekend of Feb. 6-8.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
The Lancers opened their championship quest with a close battle on Friday (Feb. 6) afternoon with the host Brock Badgers, eventually conceding the match 10-7 despite pulling ahead to an early lead. In the evening, the blue and gold fell 7-2 to the TMU Bold.
Windsor opened play Saturday (Feb. 7) with a narrow 7-5 defeat to the Algoma Thunderbirds. Their season came to a close in a 9-0 loss to the Laurier Golden Hawks in the evening.
MEN'S RESULTS
Windsor set off on Friday with a close match against TMU, but ultimately dropped the 6-5 decision. Friday afternoon saw them fall 10-4 to the Waterloo Warriors.
The Lancers responded well on Saturday, winning 9-7 over the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks in a match that required an extra end. The blue and gold were unable to advance to the quarter-finals as they closed out the tournament with an 8-3 loss to the McMaster Marauders.
