Shannon is an assistant coach with the Windsor Lancers Women's Hockey team.
A native of Leamington, Ontario, Shannon enjoyed an outstanding collegiate career at Dartmouth College where she served as team captain and was voted her team's MVP.
Prior to university, she led her Windsor Jr. team to a silver medal at the 2005 Ontario Women's Hockey Association provincial championship. She also captained Team Ontario at the 2005 U18 national championship.
Also a former member of the Canadian U-22 Team, Shannon won a gold medal with Team Canada the 2004 World Inline Hockey Championships.
In addition to her duties with the Lancers, Coach Bowman is also currently involved with the CAN-AM Summer Hockey Camps which she will direct in 2011.
