Rob Dmytruk

Rob Dmytruk is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Lancer men's hockey team.

A native of Toronto, Ontario, Rob played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League before attending Wilfrid Laurier University. The defenceman helped lead the Golden Hawks to a Queen's Cup final in 2006-07 and two CIS national championship berths in 2005-06 and 2006-07. In his two final years with the Hawks, Rob was named an OUA West first team all-star.

After university Rob continued his hockey career in the professional ranks playing in the ECHL and CHL. Following a year in the United States, he moved overseas for two seasons to play in Holland and France.

Since retiring from hockey in 2010, he has been an assistant coach for the Sudbury Wolves AAA Major Bantam team.
