Rick joined the Lancers as the Facility Manager in the Winter of 2022. He came to the department from the Town of Amherstburg where he was the Manager of Recreation for just over ten years.
With over 30 years of experience in sport and recreation, Rick previously held positions as the British Columbia Games event manager and was the Executive Director of the British Columbia Ringette Association.
Sport and Recreation has afforded Rick with the opportunity to travel the country in many different roles, most notably working at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver where he witnessed Canada’s overtime win to capture the gold medal in men’s hockey.
He is the father of two daughters, Piper and Payton.
