Matt won the prestigious Western Invitational this past weekend in an impressive time of 32:03, defeating last year's champion Ross Proudfoot of Guelph by 8 seconds. The Thunder Bay, On native finished first out of 124 competitors and helped propel the Lancers to a one point victory over the University of Guelph in their first head to head meeting of the season.
