The Lancer Women's Hockey team dropped their first two road games of the season this past weekend to the UOIT Ridgebacks and Queen's Gaels.

On Saturday against UOIT, Manon Davis scored both of Windsor's goals in the team's 3-2 loss.

Davis got Windsor on the board first with a power play goal midway through the period after accepting a pass from Lindsay Hoogstraten.

The Lancers maintained their lead and went into the second period up 1-0.

UOIT scored two unanswered goals in the second period to take a one goal lead heading into the final frame.

In the third, Davis notched her second power play goal of the game just four minutes into the period to tie the game at two.

With five minutes left in regulation, UOIT's Chrissy Thereshyn tipped one past Lancer goaltender Jamie Tessier to give the Ridgebacks the 3-2 lead and eventual win.

Tessier made 27 saves in the game, while Davis finished the game with a league leading seven goals in seven games.

On Sunday afternoon, Queen's had a tremendous first period as they rolled to a 5-1 victory over the Lancers in Kingston.

The Gaels scored four goals in the opening twenty minutes on their way to the victory.

Julie Hamilton scored the Lancers lone goal on Gaels' goaltender Mel Dodd-Moher.

Windsor takes a weekend bye next week, before they hit the road on November 13th to face the Guelph Gryphons at 7:30pm and the Brock Badgers on November 14th at 3pm in St. Catharines.
