Box Score The Lancer Men's Volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to the visiting Western Mustangs on Sunday afternoon at the St. Denis Centre.
Despite a hard fought effort, the Lancers fell 25-19, 25-20, 24-26, 25-19 to the visiting Mustangs.
On Sunday in set one, some solid Lancer blocking held off the Mustangs and helped the Lancers put some points on the board early.

Josh Edwards, Mustangs took the opening set 25-19.
The second set saw some back and fourth scoring for most of the set. Windsor began to fall behind and a yellow card to the Lancer coaching staff granted the Mustangs an additional point. In the end, Windsor was unable to keep pace with Western, falling 25-20.
In set three, the Lancers took an early lead and were able to maintain it for the first half of the set. Western was unable to catch Windsor until mid-set, tying the game at twelve a piece.
Some intense rally scoring continued until the end of the game as it headed into extra points, with Windsor keeping the match alive with a 26-24 win.
The fourth set was much like the third, with numerous long rallies and close scoring. After being tied at twelve points apiece for the second time, the Mustangs pulled away with a five point lead.
Fast-paced play by both teams carried on until the final stretch of the game, with Western securing the match with a 25-19 set victory.
For Windsor, Williamson and Le each contributed 11 kills in the loss, while Prier contributed 36 assists.
Andrew Foster led the team defensively with 13 digs.

Windsor will take on the Guelph Gryphons on Friday, November 27th in Guelph, before closing out the first half portion of their schedule with a home game against the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, November 29th at 4pm.
