Box Score The Lancer Women's Hockey team kicked-off the 2010-11 season in grand fashion with a 5-1 victory over the Western Mustangs on Friday night in London.

The Lancers continued to dominate on both ends of the ice as they took a three goal lead mid-way through the opening frame.
Candace Rapchak scored her first goal of the year at the seven minute mark, while Kourounis scored her first career goal two minutes later to give Windsor a 3-0 lead.
In the second period, Windsor continued to build on their lead as Spoors beat Western goaltender Jessica Ulrich for her second marker of the night, giving Windsor a 4-0 advantage.
Manon Davis continued to rack up the points with her first goal of the season just four minutes into the final period to give her three points on the night and the Lancers a commanding 5-0 lead.

Jamie Tessier as Meghan Hewins put the Mustangs on the board with a short handed goal for the final tally of the game.
The Lancers will open their home schedule next weekend with a pair of games against the UOIT Ridgebacks and Queen's Gaels. They'll host the Ridgebacks on Saturday October 16th and the Gaels on Sunday the 17th. Both games are at 4:10pm at South Windsor Arena.
