After a two week hiatus, the Lancer Women's Volleyball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon as they took on the Ottawa Gee Gees on the road in Ottawa.

Windsor played a strong match, but was unable to come away with the win, falling 3-0 (19-25, 19-25, 19-25) to the hosts.

Kaila Seguin led the Lancers with 10 kills, 24 attacks and 8 digs and was named Windsor's player of the game, while Myriam English finished the game with a game high 12 kills, 20 attacks and 4 digs for the GeeGees.

Ottawa controlled the ball through much of the first set, but Windsor turned around and gave them a hard fought battle through the remaining two.

Windsor has showed improved consistency since their first game of the season, despite still looking for their first win of the year.

The Lancers will again hit the road next weekend as they take on the Waterloo Warriors and Laurier Golden Hawks in a weekend doubleheader.
