Ryan Le had 16 kills in the win
Box Score
The Lancer men's volleyball team earned their third consecutive victory with a 3-1 (28-18, 18-25, 25-23, 25-17) win over Toronto at home on Sunday.

The Lancer's set the stage in the first set, taking an early 4-0 lead and only letting the Varsity Blues get 3 pts before taking the first technical. The Blues were unable to contend with the power of Ryan Le, who's 8 kills helped take the Lancers to a 25-18 first set victory.

Set two saw a different picture as the Blues narrowly captured both technical time-outs and reached a 7 pt lead late in the set. Unable to close in, the Lancers lost the set 25-18.

Play tightened in the third set, with neither team being able to take more than a 2 pt lead. The set saw long, fast rallies with both teams working tirelessly to keep the ball in play. Two points away from the set point, a Harrison Oake ace serve put the Lancers within range to take it and forced a Blues timeout. Jimmy El-Turk finished it for the Lancers ending the set 25-23.

The Lancers took over again in set four holding over a 5 pt lead for a majority of the set. Windsor's speed and hitting (Jimmy El-Turk 6 kills, Ryan Le and Kyle Williamson 4 kills each) was unmatched in the final set and allowed them an easy trip to the 25-17 victory.

Kyle Williamson led the way with 18 kills, while Ryan Le contributed 16 kills, and Jimmy El-Turk and Harrison Oake each had 10 kills apiece. Defensive for Windsor, Drew Foster had a team high 15 digs.

The Lancers will be on the road next week as they take on the Waterloo Warriors and Laurier Golden Hawks.
