On their first road trip of the 2010-11 season, the Lancer Men's Volleyball team split a pair of five set matches against the Waterloo Warriors and Laurier Golden Hawks.

Windsor faced the Warriors on Friday night and defeated the hosts in five hard fought sets 3-2 (26-24, 27-29, 11-25, 25-17, 15-11).

Kyle Williamson led the way with 16 kills and 10 digs. Harrison Oake and Josh Edwards each contributed 11 kills in the tough win.

The next night, the Lancers went through another vigorous five sets, but came out on the losing end of the battle, falling to the Golden Hawks 3-2 (17-25, 25-13, 26-24, 21-25, 11-15).

It was a back and fourth affair as one team kept ousting the next only to be resolved with a Laurier 15-11 win in the fifth.

Williamson had another solid night for the Lancers with 18 kills and six digs and Josh Edwards contributed 12 kills and a blocked shot.

Windsor will stay on the road next weekend to close out the front portion of the 2010-11 season. The Lancers will face the RMC Paladins on Saturday and the Queen's Gaels in their final matches of the calendar year on Sunday.
