Box Score 2 On their first road trip of the 2010-11 season, the Lancer Men's Volleyball team split a pair of five set matches against the Waterloo Warriors and Laurier Golden Hawks.
Windsor faced the Warriors on Friday night and defeated the hosts in five hard fought sets 3-2 (26-24, 27-29, 11-25, 25-17, 15-11).
The next night, the Lancers went through another vigorous five sets, but came out on the losing end of the battle, falling to the Golden Hawks 3-2 (17-25, 25-13, 26-24, 21-25, 11-15).
It was a back and fourth affair as one team kept ousting the next only to be resolved with a Laurier 15-11 win in the fifth.
Williamson had another solid night for the Lancers with 18 kills and six digs and
Josh Edwards contributed 12 kills and a blocked shot.
Windsor will stay on the road next weekend to close out the front portion of the 2010-11 season. The Lancers will face the RMC Paladins on Saturday and the Queen's Gaels in their final matches of the calendar year on Sunday.
