The Windsor Lancers Basketball teams are off to Kingston, Ontario this weekend for a pair of road games against the RMC Paladins and Queen's Gaels.

The Lancer women, again ranked #1 in Canada, are fresh off a weekend sweep of the Ottawa Gee Gees and Carleton Ravens last weekend at the St. Denis Centre.

Coach Vallee's squad swept the home stand against the two nationally ranked teams, defeating the Gee Gees 81-58 Friday and the Ravens 68-48 Saturday.

Miah Langlois led all scorers on Friday with 19 points; she also added six rebounds and three assists. On Saturday, veteran forward Iva Peklova took control, contributing a game-high 16 points and six rebounds.

For the Lancer men, ranked #8 in Canada, they are coming off a weekend split at home against the Ottawa Gee Gees and Carleton Ravens.

On Saturday night, Windsor dropped a hard fought battle with #1 Carleton 78-59. The two previously unbeaten teams came out with great intensity in what felt like a playoff game in the middle of November. Windsor led most of the first half and sat tied with the Ravens at intermission. However, Carleton pulled away in the second half to earn the victory.
