The Windsor Lancers Women's Volleyball team will host the Brock Badgers on Saturday afternoon at the St. Denis Centre.
The match is set for 1pm and it will be the final home contest of the 2010 fall schedule for the women's volleyball team.
Coach Marilyn Douglas' Lancer squad will be looking to register their first conference victory of the season this Saturday. The Badgers come into the weekend with a 6-3 record and tied a top the OUA West standings.
The Lancers are coming off a tough weekend in Waterloo that saw them drop a pair of matches to the Laurier Golden Hawks and Waterloo Warriors.
On Friday night, the Lancers dropped a 3-0 decision (24-26, 20-25, 14-25) to the host Waterloo Warriors.
Kaila Seguin had a strong match for Windsor leading the team with a game high 15 kills and 7 digs.
Michelle Pierce contributed 8 kills and a team high 9 digs.
On Saturday, Windsor fell to the Laurier Golden Hawks 3-0 with set scores of 17-25, 19-25 and 16-25. Pierce again had a strong game leading her team with 7 kills, while
Jessica Shepley had 5 kills in the loss.
Windsor will be looking for a strong performance on Saturday against the Badgers to set themselves up for the second half of the season.
