Box Score 2 The Lancer Women's Hockey team dropped a pair of road games to the Guelph Gryphons and Brock Badgers this past weekend in OUA action.
After a fast start, Windsor has now lost their last three games and sit at 6-3 and in 4th place in the OUA.
On Saturday, the Lancers were defeate 3-0 by the Guelph Gryphons on the road in Guelph.
In the first period, Guelph's Victoria Woods opened the scoring at 7:37 to put the home team ahead 1-0.
The Gryphons would then add to their lead as Erin Small capitalized on a short-handed opportunity at 19:18 to go ahead 2-0.
The Lancers had a couple of good opportunities to score on the power play in the third, but were unable to convert.

Jamie Tessier made 29 saves in the loss.
On Sunday, Windsor dropped their second game of the weekend, falling 3-2 to the Brock Badgers in St. Catherines.
Against Brock, the Lancers got on th board first as
Laurel Ansell scored her first goal of the season with 12 seconds remaining in the period to put the Lancers up 1-0.
Windsor kept the momentum going in the second as Canadace Rapchak netted her fourth of the year off a pass from
Jenny MacKnight less than a minute into the period.
The Badgers were able to cut into the Lancer lead in the second as Jillian Bitoni scored her first of the year to bring Brock within one. Badger Amber Wilson then scored her first of the year on the power play to tie the game at 2-2.
The remainder of the period was a tight back and forth battle as both teams tried to break the tie and take the lead.
The third period saw Brock's Courtney Southerland accept a pass from forward Katie Howlett and defenseman Morgan Bonnah to give the Badgers a one goal lead six minutes into the frame.
That goal would prove to be the winner as the Badgers hung on for the 3-2 victory.
The Lancers will now return home for a match-up against the Western Mustangs on Saturday November 13th at 4:10pm at South Windsor Arena.
