Women's Volleyball ends season with loss to Laurier

The Lancer women's volleyball team ended their regular season with a 3-0 (13-25, 13-25, 14-25) loss to the Wilfred Laurier Golden Hawks.
 
With the loss, the Lancers finished the season with a 1-18 record and out of playoff contention.
 
In the first set Laurier took the first technical timeout 8-3 and continued to dominate as they took a 16-5 lead at the second technical. The Golden Hawks allowed the Lancers to close to within nine points at 19-10, but maintained control and took the match 25-13.
 
The second set was more of a battle as the host team took the first technical timeout 8-6, but took the second one 16-11. Windsor struggled as Laurier finished strong taking eight of the last nine points in the match for a 25-13 win.
 
In the final set, the Golden Hawks dominated the Lancers early to take the first timeout 8-2 and the second won 16-5. The Lancers battled back in the late going, but Laurier found the points to take the victory 25-14.
 
Leading the Lancers was Kaila Seguin with 10 points, Jillian Fantuz with 16 assists and Jessica Beltran with seven digs.
