Women's Hockey falls to Queen's on the road in Kingston

Box Score The Windsor Lancers Women's Hockey team was defeated 3-0 by the Queen's Gaels on Saturday afternoon on the road in Kingston.

With the loss, the Lancers fall to 10-14-0 in conference play and are 3 points back in the race for the final playoff spot in the OUA.

On Saturday, after a scoreless first period, the Gaels strung together three unanswered goals to take a 3-0 lead over the Lancers.

Queen's got goals from Megan McNutt and a pair from Kelsey Thomson in the victory.

The Lancers were outshot by the Gaels 52-31 in the game.

Windsor will be back in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Oshawa to battle the UOIT Ridgebacks. Puck drop is set for 3:30pm.
