Box Score 1 |
Box Score 2 In their first games back after the holiday break, the Lancer Men's Volleyball team struggled and dropped a pair of games to the Ryerson Rams and York Lions.
Windsor is now .500 on the season with a 6-6 record, and sit in fifth place in league standings.
In Saturday's 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 22-25) loss to Ryerson,
Kyle Williamson led the Lancers with 15 kills, 6 digs and 19 points to be named Windsor's player of the game.
With all four sets being nail-biters, Windsor took the first set by three before losing the next three by the same narrow margin.
On Sunday, the Lancers didn't have the same momentum as they did Saturday and dropped three straight sets (20-25, 8-25, 23-25) to the host York Lions.
Windsor played strong first and third sets, but seemed to fall apart in the second as the Lions rapidly grabbed the set.
Fourth year Lancer
Harrison Oake led the team with 7 kills and 10 points.
The Lancers will hope to rally next weekend as they once again hit the road for a pair of games against McMaster and Guelph.
