Box Score The Lancer Football team continued their impressive play this season with a convincing 41-21 victory over the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday night at Alumni Field.
Windsor used a balanced offensive attack to move to 4-1 on the season in front of 2,641 fans on a chilly evening that was part of Alumni Weekend at the University of Windsor.
The Lancers will now prepare for a showdown on Thanksgiving weekend against the Queen's Gaels at Alumni Field.

However, with less than two minutes remaining in to opening half Guelph's Jazz Lindsey would move his team down the field and complete a 40-yard pass play to Kevin Campbell to get the Gryphons on the board. This visitors capped off the touchdown with a two point conversion pass to Saxson Lindsey to make the score 16-8 at the half.
With a stiff wind at their back to start the second half, the Lancers dominated third quarter as they put up 18 points in the frame to take a 34-14 lead.

The final points for Windsor came midway through the fourth quarter as Guelph was driving into Lancer territory looking to score. However,
Matt McGarva stepped in front of a Jazz Lindsey pass and returned the interception 109 yards for a touchdown, making the score 41-14.
For the Lancers,
Austin Kennedy had another strong outing as he finished 21 of 28 passing with two touchdowns.
