Box Score 2 The Lancer women's volleyball team closed out the first half of their season with a 3-0 (29-27, 28-26, 25-21) sweep over the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday night at the St. Denis Centre.
After a tough loss on Friday night to the Guelph Gryphons, the Lancers rallied to head into the holiday break with a win.
Windsor was led by
Kaila Seguin with 18 kills,
Jessica Shepley with 29 assists, and
Chelsey Drouillard with 13 digs.
Team leaders for the Warriors were Danielle Kamps with 13 kills, Kayla Ng with 27 assists, and Katie Spack with 13 digs.
On Friday night against Guelph, the Lancers were dominated by the Gryphons 3-0 (10-25, 12-25, 16-25).
Seguin had a team high 8 kills, while Shepley had 21 assists.
The Lancers will kick off the new year on January 6th at 6pm against the Toronto Varsity Blues at the St. Denis Centre.
