Box Score Team captain Candace Rapchak recorded a hat trick as the Windsor Lancers Women's Hockey team defeated the Western Mustangs 6-3 on Sunday afternoon at South Windsor Arena.

Ally Stirckland, Courtney Spoors and Bree Polci added goals while Karlyle Robinson made 52 saves for the victory in net.

Spoors, Alyssa Baldin and Manon Davis had two assists apiece for the Lancers.

Windsor took a 4-2 lead after the first period, with two of Rapchak's goals being scored in the first frame.

Western closed the gap with a power play goal in the second period, to make it a one goal game heading into the final period. 

The Lancers added two goals in the latter half of the final period to secure the win.

Windsor will host the Mustangs again this coming Saturday at 4:10pm at South Windsor Arena.
