Box Score 2 KINGSTON, Ont.- The Windsor Lancers men's volleyball team rebounded from losing a hard-fought contest against the Queen's Gaels in five sets (25-15, 22-25, 26-24, 23-25, 15-10) to defeat RMC 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-21) and split their games this past weekend.
Against Queen's,
Kyle Williamson tallied a team-high 17 points including 14 kills to lead the Lancers, while
Adam Thompson and
Timothee Jaumel each added 13 kills in a losing cause.
Andrew Chelladurai had a game-high 44 assists, and
Blase Wasser recorded 13 digs. Mike Tomlinson led all players with 24 kills and 28.5 points in leading the Gaels to their sixth victory of the year.
Williamson led the way once again against RMC on Sunday, recording a team-high 11 kills in the victory.
Scott Hickman added six kills for the Lancers who defeated a Paladins side that was led by Thomas McMullen who tallied 10 kills throughout the contest.
The Lancers (1-5) return to the St. Denis Centre next weekend, when they will play host to the McMaster Marauders and York Lions on November 24 and 25 respectively.
