Box Score The Lancer women's hockey team lost a 2-1 decision to the visiting Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday afternoon at South Windsor Arena.
Toronto's Amanda Fawns opened the scoring midway through the second period with a power play goal.
Kelly O'Hanlon scored her fifth of the season at 6:03 of the third period to give the visitors a two goal lead.
Windsor pulled goaltender
Karlyle Robinson with three minutes remaining to give themselves a sixth man on a power play.
Candace Kourounis would bring the Lancers within one, and spoil the shut out, with a powerplay marker with 49 seconds remaining in the game.
Keeping Robinson on the bench for the final minute, the Lancers attempted the tie breaker but were unable to capitalize on any opportunities.
Windsor will host their final regular season game tomorrow afternoon at 4:10pm. Prior to the game the Lancers will honour their graduating seniors
