Lancers dropped by Marauders in four

Box Score HAMILTON, Ont.- The Windsor Lancers women's volleyball team lost their lone game of the week to the McMaster Marauders 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-16) on Sunday afternoon at Burridge Gymnasium.

Fifth-year veteran Kaila Seguin recorded a game-high 20.5 points in the loss for Windsor (6-5) who sit third in the OUA West division but still hold two games in hand on both Guelph (9-4) and McMaster (8-5) at the top of the standings.

Seguin also tallied a game-high 16 digs, while Shannon Dean and Mackenzie Coyle both added 10 kills. Danielle Lenarduzzi garnered 43 set assists for the women who worked at a hitting efficiency of .186, compared to .216 from the home side. Sophie Bukovec led the Marauders with 17 kills and 19.5 points, helping McMaster to its third striaight conference victory. The Lancers have lost two straight, and are 2-4 on the road thus far this season.

Windsor, who boasts a 4-1 record at home, will welcome the RMC Paladins and Queen's Gaels to the St. Denis Centre next Friday and Saturday evening. Both games will take place at 6:00 p.m.
