TORONTO- Erinn Noseworthy scored two goals 2:33 apart late in the third period, guiding the Windsor Lancers women's hockey team to a 4-3 victory over the York Lions on Saturday evening at Canlan Ice Sports.

With her two quick markers, Noseworthy now leads the OUA with 14 goals scored. Jenny MacKnight and Bree Polci assisted on both goals, as MacKnight continues to add to her conference leading point total. The veteran forward garners 33 points after Saturday's contest, while Polci ranks second in the OUA wtih 26 points thus far.

After the Lions opened the scoring in the second frame following a stalemate in the first 20 minutes, the Lancers responded with two goals from Polci and Lindsay Hoogstratten. However, the Lions answered with a short-handed marker just two seconds before the end of the period, sending the teams into the second intermission tied 2-2.

York grabbed its first lead of the contest in the third period, and held the advantage for just over eight minutes before Noseworthy's late-game heroics took shape.
