The Lancer women's volleyball team closed out the first half of their season with a hard earned 3-2 (20-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-18, 15-11) victory over the Western Mustangs on Friday night in London, ON.

With the win, the Lancers head into the Christmas break with a 4-6 record and are in fourth place in the OUA West division, while the Mustangs lost their fourth straight match and are 3-7 heading into the break.

Windsor was led by
Hannah Robson with 14 kills, 16 digs and 17 points on the night. Emily McCloskey chipped in 11 kills and 14 points, while defensively
Emily Durand and
Richelle Brown had 15 digs and 11 digs, respectively.

The Mustangs were led by Aja Gylmah with 16 kills, 13 digs and 16.5 points.

The Lancers will now break until the New Year when they host the McMaster Marauders on Sunday January 11th at 2:00pm at the St. Denis Centre. In their previous meeting this season, the Blue & Gold dropped a 3-0 decision to the reigning OUA champs in their season opener in Hamilton.
