Box Score TORONTO - The Lancer men's hockey team ended their regular season with a heart breaking 4-3 loss to the Ryerson Rams on Saturday afternoon at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, ON.

With the loss, the Lancers finished the year with a 17-11-0 record and place fourth overall in a very tight west division. The Rams also finished the season with 34 points, however placed ahead of the Blue & Gold by winning the season series between the two clubs.

The Rams jumped out to a two goal lead by the seven minute mark of the second period with goals from Kent McPherson and Dan Lombardi. From there, Windsor scored three goals in five minutes to take a 3-2 lead heading into the third period.

Kenny Bradford got the Lancers on the board with the first of the team's two power play goals at 13:42 of the middle period.
Spencer Pommells then tied the game on the Lancers next power play opportunity at 15:24, and
Curtis Longland gave the Lancers the lead at 18:46.

 After Ryerson's Steve Taylor scored his first goal of the season to tie the game 3-3, the Rams re-gained the lead with a goal from Andrew Buck with under three minutes to play in regulation.

Parker Van Buskirk made a number of key saves for the Lancers throughout the game and stopped 34 of 28 shots, while Troy Passingham made 32 saves for the host team.
