Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Lancer women's hockey team is still looking for their first win of the season after a pair of losses to the Laurier Golden Hawks and Waterloo Warriors over the weekend.
 
Windsor dropped a 4-2 decision to the Hawks on Friday before falling 5-2 to the Warriors on Saturday afternoon.
 
Against the Hawks, Windsor led 2-1 after the first period with a pair of goals from Shawna Lesperance and Hillary Hettwer. The hosts evened the score midway through the second period and added two more in the third to earn the win.
 
Netminder Hanna Slater had a strong day in net for the Blue & Gold turning aside 49 of the Hawks 53 shots.
 
On Saturday, Ingrid Sandven was also busy in the Lancer net turning aside 34 of the Warriors 39 shots.
 
The opening frame saw the two combatants exchange goals within one minute of each other as Lesperance put Windsor up 1-0 at 11:49 before Waterloo's Stephanie Digness fired home a point shot 52 seconds later for her first of the season.
 
The game would open up in the second period as Courtney Simpson put Waterloo up 2-1. Much like the Warriors answering Windsor's opening goal, the visitors repaid the favour, taking only two minutes to even the game at two's.  Shailyn Waites put away the equalizer on a Windsor power play.
 
The Warriors would however regain the lead only 23 seconds later with Alison Hanson tipping home a point shot as the Warriors went into the second intermission up 3-2.
 
Waterloo would add two more goals in the third to secure the win.
